Answer: It's ready but going through some balance tweaks. I would say in the next 1-2 months and it will be available.

Answer: Housing, Cooking, Organized Guild Tournaments, and new maps

Answer: well the community is our main aspect of the game. also the kind of interaction you get from GM's in fiesta is much more personal and we strive to make it that way.

Answer: Well first to keep current players playing is to make sure we have a strong end game with plenty of challenges. The new boss raid is an example. For new players making the game more intuitive and easy to understand.

Answer: As long as it takes to get our job done

Answer: To a certain extent, we have some contact. The GMs primary contact to the developer is the Admin of the game. The Admin will then communicate what's needed to the developer.

Answer: The lucky girl is my wife in RL. GMs are not allowed to marry players. They prefer to stay as bachelors...

Answer: well overall everyone is nice and always seems like its the community that makes our job easier. from all the other MMORPG games out there, I notice Fiesta has a more tight group community.

Answer: We are still in the process of figuring out the exact form it will take. The strongest possibility involves players being an apprentice to players. This is to encourage higher level players helping the lower level players

Answer: you bet ;)

Answer: As you may or may not know, Fiesta is developed by Onson. They fix the bugs as soon as possible. It also goes through the process of our Quality Assurance team before live service.

 

GM_WiLDFiRe (ucdj27): Question: crossglaive: Is the development of the game leading towards it's other counterpart versions such as Bright Kingdom (Japanese) or the company rather personalize it?

Answer: We try to make Fiesta our own but we do look at other versions and evaluate their progress so we can learn from their successes. At the same time, we recognize our market to be different from theirs. This is when we choose to personalize Fiesta to our community needs.

Answer: The player will receive a permanent mini-pet to signify that he or she is married

Answer: Hmm most ridicoulous I would say, is players saying something like "I bought cash shop items I should be given 500g". As for what makes us love you guys. For me it is your spirit, most of you have a great sense of humor and are very laid back

Answer: Most GM's come from previous gaming jobs like QA testing. To become a GM for a game is the same as getting anyother job. Basiclly you need to get some job training in a video game related field. Get as uch experiece as you can in the gaming industry is the key.

Answer: We do both design and running of the events

Answer: It's a fixed ratio and cannot be changed

Answer: Indeed, in fact once the Fiesta story is more published I am hoping to open more doors for players to fill out certain aspects. The history is by us but the players are helping to guide the presant and future of Isya

 

GM_SnakeEyes (soulja804): Question: fireraven92: Will there be more events in the future where a selected group of players are taken to a seperate map to enjoy the event, removing the high lag from some current events i.e. Forest of Shadows.

Answer: we try our best to minimize the amount of lag. One suggestion still under discussion is hold events in the OX field with a limited amount of players. But other factors, such a phyical distance from the server, or players computer specs are out of our control.

 

GM_WiLDFiRe (ucdj27): Question: conquer700: What was the reasoning with your massive exp increase in the quests? Do you think that the increase will offset the balance of higher level players to lower levels?

Answer: We wanted to make Fiesta a more casual experience so those who simply do not have the time to commit to grinding can still keep up with their friends. Also note that 80+ is where Fiesta will begin to be "hard". The developer has decided to make the first 79 levels "easy" and the latter levels much more difficult. This is where we will begin to branch Fiesta off into more content and features.

Answer: This is according to your monitor capabilities. I personally run 1900x1200 at home (1080p)

Answer: Of course we do. Being as active as we are we get players who both love and hate us. As for our response to these letters, we leave that to the personality of the individual GM

Answer: I used to play Dark Age of Camelot hardcore. Now i've begun playing Age of Conan.

Answer: First we try to think of what type of events playing will like. Do we have the resources to run the event? Will the event be accessible to most players? Just alot of processes...

Answer: This is under discussion internally. My personal opinion, I would like to see some sort of take-over strategy where guilds can own property in PvP that gives them bonuses in PvE.

Answer: I originally started writing the story when I was in test, then I got the original story that we got from Korea, but it was very bare bones to me. So I took my concept with their core story and wrote an entirely new version that still went with the story present i the game,

Answer: It blurs the textures together. Goto your Graphic settings and turn it on! It looks good for screen shots.

Answer: We have discussed that as one possibility. Any final details and even if it can be implemented is still under review

Answer: Yes we try to. It is very important, in fact it is essential that we reamin as impartial as possible so that we can fairly enforce the rules of the game

Answer: It's user preferance. Unless your SnakeEyes, he has all four.

Answer: YES!!!! It is like the salvation army. The toughest job you'll ever love. Sometimes it is an utter nightmare. But it can be very rewarding as well

Answer: Yes we have central office in Northern California. For the most part we dont travel, we leave that up to the upper managament people.

Answer: I adored the GM for Ragnarok Online. I always viewed her as an icon. I wanted to become important to a selective group as well. Hopefully I stand out as an icon too.

Answer: Every month the staff gets together and each staff member selects their top player nominations based on personality, attitude towards their community, and loyalty to the game. We then go through process of elimination.

Answers: College of ownage. I don't think there's a class for GMing...

Answer: It can be very stressful at times. we strive to help as many ppl as we can. and seeing us in the game is only a very small part of what we do. a lot of planning and preperation is involved. also we get tons of PM about player issues we handle also.

Answer: I was in test and got selected, it was a good career move

Answer: FatalLace of Bijou. The magazine is created by the community of Fiesta.

Answer: I know enough programming to get myself into trouble :P

Mostly though we note issues in the game and inform the developer of the best way to fix it. Having programming knowledge helps us convince them more easily
