1. In the Xfire client go to Tools | Manage Instant Messenger Accounts (ALPHA). 2. Click Add Account. 3. Make sure AOL Instant Messenger is selected in the 'Type' field. 4. Enter your username and password for your AIM account. 5. Click OK. 6. If you are not logged into the account automatically, click 'Log In'. 7. Your account should appear in the 'IM Accounts' list. If you're logged in you'll see '- Online' next to your AIM account name. 8. Click Close and return to your friends list. You should see your AIM contacts listed now. Let us know if this helps. Sorry, I don't think I was specific enough. I am already logged into AIM, but I was wondering how to add a buddy to my list. If I do it through the Xfire add friend option, it just searches Xfire users, not AIM users. I just need to know how to add users to my AIM buddy list. |

It sure is. Here's how: 1. Go to Tools | Manage Instant Messenger Accounts (ALPHA). 2. Highlight your AIM account on the list. 3. Log in to it. 4. Click 'Add User'. 5. Type an AIM username. The user should then appear either in your Friends Online OR Friends Offline list depending on whether they're currently logged into their AIM account. Let us know if this helps. _______________ |

Gah! It was staring right at me the whole time! I swear I went to that same menu 20 times trying to find out how to add friends! Anyway, thanks, it worked. =) |
