I have to actually agree that Americas army is one of the best freeware shooters about. We are on about realistic FPS games right? If not Celestrial Impact is actually pretty cool. |

Americas Army is pretty good, especially if you want realism and teamwork. But I do remember playing Crossfire, and loving it, except that the majority of the people seemed to suck. _______________ I could agree with you, but then we'd both be wrong. |

the last free FPS i tried was Nexuiz. it was using the quake 2 engine i think. pretty nice. for MMOFPS, Manga Fighter was the last i tried, very nice and fun, if you can tolerate the anime theme.

Anime style...? Perked my interests, went to site, saw that only two sixth of characters were human and only one anime girl, saw them advertising low-violent content, and lost all interest.

also remembered an MMOFPS, Gunz. not sure if its still active tho. kinda fun with the skills and stuff. @Amonacha yeah, the violence is watered way down to match the cutesy feel of it. if you can get past that tho, the varied weaponry and effects are interesting. _______________ zk306 productions |

Wolfenstein Enemy Territory is good. I have played alot of free fps.

You do realise FPS = first person shooter. That means. Is invalid because its an MMORPG. Is invalid because its a TPS, or third person shooter. Is also invalid because its a TPS This is also invalid because its not only a TPS, its also not F2P or Free to play. Sauerbraten on the other hand I'm recommending, is a FPS, and also pretty good. |
